Unreal character, AI, and other testing

Testing various mechanics in Unreal utilising the third person template, assets from Synty Studios, and animations from Mixamo.

  • Third person controller - movement, running, jumping, attacking, blocking etc

    • Used the Unreal retargeting system to combine assets with animations​

  • AI - Utilising Blackboard and Behavior Tree for NPC AI actions

  • Moving grass/water materials, expanding blood pool decals

  • VFX - Fire, blood splatter

Unreal multiplayer menu for Steam

A quick menu created in Unreal for creating and joining a game server that runs in both LAN and through Steam, and consolidated into a plugin to easily add to new projects. 

Utilises the Advanced Steam Subsystem plugin.
